CHILD SUPPORT

Child support is determined by a mathematical calculation that takes into account the incomes of both parties, the time-sharing arrangment, health insurance costs, day care costs and some other factors.
Birthday Girl!
If you are an unmarried father who is paying child support through the Department of Revenue, then you must still file a Paternity action to establish visitation. Remember, unmarried fathers have no custody rights to their children until those rights are established in a court of law. This is true even if you are paying child support in a Department of Revenue case.
